What’s been happening:

After finishing Penn State in 1974, I got married to Sam (Samornrat, a Penn State alumni) and went to the University of Akron where we both got our Ph.D.'s. Then, we went back to Thailand and worked in Hat Yai at Prince of Songkla University for 20 years. We had two children, Patpon and Minkmas who grew up in Hat Yai. In 1991, we moved to Bangkok and I worked at Kasetsart University while Dr. Samornrat worked at Baan Pan Research Co. Ltd. Now, I am a retired professor , go to visit the US once in a while, do a bit of teaching, and mostly stay home. I am glad that Sam and I joined Penn State. It is one of the best periods of our life. I still remember Prof. Paul Barton who was my Penn State advisor in Chemical Engineering, Dr. Kabel, Dr. Danner, Dr. Engle, Dr. Daubert, Dr. Jenning, Prof. McCormick, and Dr.Engleton. We have a son-in-law, Barry Williams, and a grand daughter, Natalie.
